The Dutton was drawn by hand using draft paper and a scale ruler and was inspired from visiting the Southwest and seeing home designs that allowed guests to have a private space during visits and remain in the home.
This design features an open-air private courtyard off the main entrance with access to the main house and a casita with private entry. The courtyard offers a secluded outdoor living experience in the front of the house. It’s the perfect place for your guests to have their morning cup of coffee during visits without entering the main house.
Some of the essential aspects of this home are its indoor-outdoor living areas. When you first enter, you’ll see through the house’s interior into the outdoor living area. Moveable glass walls open to make the outdoor living area feel like it’s part of the house. It’s the perfect place for entertaining or creating a relaxing indoor-outdoor living experience anytime.
