Located in Camas WA, the gated community of Dawson’s Ridge overlooks the scenic Columbia River and Portland Metropolitan Area. Homeowners enjoy breathtaking skyline views and romantic evening lighting from this premier upscale location of modern luxury homes.
Our goal was to build a luxury home and preserve the warm and cozy feel. We worked with our client to design a floor plan from scratch to complement their day to day living, incorporating the features to support their lifestyle.
Built for relaxing and entertaining, this family home features traditional elements with a contemporary feel.
From the street, the house is an eye-catching work of art with paint-washed brick reclaimed from an old library. You’ll notice the intentional placement of this brickwork throughout the interior and exterior design of the home.
Outside are two facing garages with an adjoining porte-cochere, framing a gorgeous sand-finished courtyard. Custom landscaping by GRO Outdoor Living adds a refined touch to the home’s exterior.
Inside is an expansive great room with 20-foot high ceilings throughout the dining and great room accented by custom wood railings that expose the second floor, giving The Hamlin its inclusive, wide-open feel. Two accordion-style panoramic doors join the great and formal dining rooms allowing full access to a beautiful covered outdoor living area with a built-in kitchen finished with a side burner grill, storage areas, and custom granite countertops.
Centered in the home is a kitchen designed to satisfy the most discriminating culinary artist. This kitchen is equipped two refrigerators, one 60-inches wide, two dishwashers, a 48-inch double oven range, a coffee station with a built in cup riser, and an oversized island flowing into a custom-designed casual dining area. Adjacent the kitchen is butler’s pantry, with an additional full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, service, and staging area. And because the owners are animal lovers, there are two custom-sized, built-in dog-dens for their furry family members just down the hall.
Upstairs features a media room complete with an 82-inch TV, Dolby Atmos theater system, and powered blackout smart shade window coverings. The master suite is one of four bedrooms in The Hamlin and is the centerpiece of the upper-level living. A generous built-in walk-in closet with vanity and a wall-to-wall window seat accent the beautiful design of this room. And the elegant master bath has detailed cabinetry, soaking tub, and custom tiled shower fitted with an Airmada shower drying system. A luxury detail of modern upscale living.

Because of the leadership of Chuck Neibert and the support of our fantastic trade partners determined to meet our deadline and uphold our rigid quality standards, we were able to compress the timeline and complete the project in 141 days for entry into the 2019 NW Natural Clark County Parade of Homes.
