2021 Parade of Home Entry

Feng Shui symbolizes wind and water respectively and is about living a life in harmony with your environment. With that philosophy in mind, we created an intentional design incorporating the elements of Feng Shui to create a seamless flow of energy in this unique home design.

A bubbling water feature is intentionally placed to be heard from almost anywhere in the home. The constant flow of water is meant to keep energy moving and flowing throughout the residence.

Custom-designed double doors open to an expansive great room space. The unique door design carries on through the home’s interior onto a 20′ high accent wall located in the stairway.

This fabulous great room is designed to add the feeling of warmth and connection. Indoor and outdoor areas are connected by accordion doors and serve as one living space when they are opened. A beautiful grand piano will fill the air with harmony as friends and family gather in this welcoming space.

The kitchen is home to an impressive custom double island kitchen and is the center of attention in this wide-open space. It was created for the family that spends a lot of time preparing and sharing meals.

There are two sink prep kitchens, so each cook has enough space for meal tasks. There are also two dishwashers and casual seating. It’s the perfect place to bring the entire family together to converse and connect at the end of the day.

The upper level is home to a large activity room that functions as a casual living space. The family will work on projects and homework and have a movie night, all within this multi-functional space. A heated upper balcony located just off this room is perfect for entertaining or curling up with a book. When the french doors are opened, the sound of the bubbling water feature adds another layer of calm and tranquility.

In Feng Shui home designs bedrooms are for sleeping and relaxing, which is why this owner’s suite design is intended to provide the best possible rest. It’s a sanctuary free of a television or electronics of any kind to limit distractions.

Adjoined by a trap door are two rooms for the kids, making playtime even more magical.

Here you can see the flow of the outdoor areas joined by a walkway from the outdoor living area to the outdoor kitchen and dining area.
